Taste the Good Life returns to the Station this fall: a gourmet charity gala of food, wine, libations, cigars, entertainment, and the live and silent auctions. Twice a year since 1994.
The ones who show up
The Fall 2026 gala benefits the City of Latrobe Police Department and Mutual Aid EMS. Latrobe’s police officers and Mutual Aid’s crews answer the same calls, often on the same night. This fall, Taste the Good Life is for both of them.
Every dollar raised runs through Mutual Aid Ambulance Service, a registered 501(c)(3). After shared costs and processing fees, half goes to the City of Latrobe Police Department.
The evening
- Open bar and food stations by Certified Executive Chef Gaetano DiSalvo, AAC: antipasti, stations, entrees and desserts
- Wine, libations and cigars through the evening
- Live and silent auctions, with one hundred percent of the auction proceeds going to the evening’s charities
- The Aficionado Award, the jacket earned by the highest bidder in the live auction
- Entertainment, and the good camaraderie the night is known for
